We are deeply saddened by the loss of long time club member and past president Jim McLennan.  He will be greatly missed.

Several of our club attended the District Rotary Foundation Dinner at Zehnders on 29 February!!  A wonderful dinner, Rotary presentation, and an opportunity to enjoy fellowship with other Rotarians!!

Our Rotary Club participated in the Festival of Trees at Apple Mountain  recently.  A great opportunity to be involved in a worthy project and promote the actions of Rotary.  Thanks to Dave Jaffe, Gary Fahndrich, Bill Koepke, Mark Landra, Evelyn Mudd, Amy Nuerminger, Andy Rose and Andy Talik for volunteering!!!!!

CIC, from the Bad Axe Rotary Club presented information at our October 31st meeting concerning the Haiti Water Well Project in which the Bad Axe Rotary Club has become involved.  Matching funds are available from Rotary International for this very successful project.  More information is available at his web site www.mschillingeragency.com


Dr. Rolf Mayrhofer, a member of the Rotary Club of Bad Bergzabern, Germany addressed our club on October 3rd.  We had an opportunity to learn about how several clubs in Germany operate their meetings and about several of their successful fundraising events for worthy Rotary causes.

Sergeant-at-Arms, Rod Bieber is enforcing the Rotary pin code.  For a limited time, any table with all members wearing their pins will receive a free lottery ticket for the table.  Table members can decide how to split any prize won by the free ticket!

Mark Landra presents the "Rotary Minute".  An opportunity to learn more about Rotary International and local Rotary projects--all in 60 seconds or less!.

Dave Jaffe has been presenting the "Rotarian of the Week".  An opportunity for us to learn more about our fellow Rotarians.
